LCR Stereo Chorus Plugin (AUv3) LcrChorus is an audio effect plugin that can run standalone, or in any AU compatible host application such as Logic or GarageBand. Overview LcrChorus is a stereo chorus effect inspired by the "LCR Chorus" in the Korg Wavestate synthesizer. The chorus effect is achieved by modulating the time of a delayed version of the dry signal with a triangle waveform. Typically, these delay times are very short, around 20ms. LcrChorus differs from most chorus DSP algorithms by processing the left, centre and right channels independently, which can create a very dense and spacious stereo effect. Parameters Active - Toggles the effect On or Off. Rate (L/C/R) - Varies the modulation of the LFO frequency between 0.1-10.0 Hz for the specified channel. L = left, C = centre, R = right. The LFOs for each channel are not in phase with each other so a stereo effect will still occur, even if the three LFO rates are the same. Depth (L/C/R) - Sets the amount of delay modulation, as a percentage of the maximum modulation delay time for the specified channel. If the name sounds familiar, LcrChorus is a version of the LCR CHORUS module developed for Voltage Modular by Waverley Instruments.
