Electric heating calculator

Electric heating calculator

By Shital Gorasiya

Description

This tool determines the required electric heater power to effectively warm a space. The calculation considers the desired temperature difference and room-specific factors, using the formula: V × T × k = kcal/hr, where: V: Volume of the room to be heated (in cubic meters). T: Temperature difference between the indoor target temperature and the outdoor conditions. k: Heat loss coefficient, which reflects the level of insulation. Values range from 4.0 (poor insulation) to 0.6 (excellent insulation). By inputting these factors, the calculator provides the necessary heating capacity to maintain a comfortable indoor environment. Other Features : - Water Heating Calculator A tool to estimate the energy required to heat water to a desired temperature, based on the water volume, initial and target temperatures, and heating efficiency. - Heat Loss Calculator This calculator determines the amount of heat lost from a building or room due to factors like insulation quality, surface area, and temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. - Heat Transfer Calculator A tool for calculating the rate of heat transfer between two materials or environments, considering factors such as thermal conductivity, surface area, and temperature gradient.
