Aspect ratio refers to the ratio of the long (horizontal) and short (vertical) sides of a rectangle. To obtain the aspect ratio, find the greatest common divisor of the width and height, and divide the width and height by it to obtain the ratio. The greatest common divisor is the largest common divisor of two or more integers. For example, if the resolution is 1920 x 1080, the greatest common divisor is 120. Width: 1920 / 120 = 16 Height: 1080 / 120 = 9 The resulting aspect ratio is 16:9.
